Care and maintenance

Caring for the vinyl wrap on your bicycle is essential to keep it looking its best. Just like with car wraps, proper maintenance is key. Here's a guide on how to maintain and care for your bicycle's vinyl wrap:

Cleaning
Cleaning your vinyl-wrapped bicycle is a simple task. Use a mixture of water and a small amount of soap or opt for a water spray without soap. Wipe down the wrap gently. It's crucial to avoid any soapy residue, as it can attract dirt. Additionally, try not to clean your bicycle in direct sunlight to prevent water from drying before you wipe it off, which can leave spots.

Preserving Shine
Your bicycle's vinyl wrap becomes a protective coat, eliminating the need for waxing or polishing after installation.

Dealing with Scratches
While vinyl wraps are durable, they can still get scratched if they come into contact with something hard (like a screwdriver). In case of a scratch, you can either place another vinyl wrap piece on top (not aesthetically recommended), or contact us for a redo on that specific area.

Storage
During extended periods of storage, especially during the winter, ensure your bike is kept in a dry area free from mildew. Storing it in a spacious cardboard box is a good idea, as it provides protection from moisture that might seep in through cracks or holes. Keep an eye on the box throughout the winter. You can also use plastic to cover the wrapped part of your bike to shield it from rain or snow.

Note on Cleaning Products
While vinyl wraps are resilient, it's best to avoid harsh detergents that can damage or dull their finish. Steer clear of products containing acetone, 90%+ alcohol, bleach, or lacquer thinner.
Proper maintenance of your bicycle's vinyl wrap not only preserves its appearance but also ensures its longevity, so you can enjoy a stylish ride for years to come.
